Besides the city of Prado another highlight is the district of Cumuruxatiba, and the village of Corumbau.

With about 85 kilometers of coastline, beautiful beaches and a pleasant climate throughout the year, the county of Prado is a great choice for your vacation.

In the open sea there are more attractions waiting: the Reefs of Guaratiba that are part of the Abrolhos Marine National Park, and the reefs of Timbebas, less than an hour by boat from the coast of Prado. The Abrolhos Islands and reefs fascinate with its clear waters and rich marine fauna and flora.
Between July and November, the coastline of the Whale Coast is a great natural spectacle scenario - when humpback whales visit the warm and calm waters for reproduction.
Humpback whales, up to 18 meters long, stand out from other species by curiosity and impressive figures, sometimes leaping with such strong impulses that the whole body is out of the water. This gave them the nickname "acrobat whales."
Several companies offer boat tours for whale watching, visiting the reefs and the Abrolhos Islands.
The municipality of Prado has the largest tourist infrastructure of the Whale Coast. Most hotels and restaurants are located in the town of Prado.
Cumuruxatiba and Corumbau also offer good accommodation options, with inns and hotels. Beach bars are found on most beaches.
The town of Prado features a wide variety of restaurants, pizzerias, snack bars, ice cream parlors, bars and beach bars. In addition to the Carnival and New Year's party, there are other popular festivals as the Gastronomic Festival, the Mototour Fest, the Beer Festival and some more.
